Buying, spawning & parking vehicles

# Dealerships

Vehicles are bought at one of several dealerships in Los Santos:

• Premium Deluxe Motorsport (Vinewood) — sedans, SUVs, sports cars.
• Bennys's (Strawberry) — used / aftermarket.
• Pegasus (private, online) — exotics and special vehicles.
• Aircraft Apartments (LSIA) — planes and helicopters; pilot's licence required.
• Various boat dealers along the coast.

Walk up to a vehicle on the lot and press E to view its details + price. Buy outright, or finance through the dealership (see Vehicle finance below). Once purchased it lands in your /v garage; it doesn't physically spawn until you call it out.

# /v — your vehicle menu

/v opens your owned-vehicles panel. From here you can:

• Spawn a vehicle near you (uses your dimension; race-guarded so a double-click won't duplicate it).
• Locate — drops a GPS waypoint to where the vehicle is parked.
• Park — despawn it and save its current position.
• Lock / unlock remotely.
• See current fuel, engine health, body health, mileage, and dirt level.
• Manage keys — give a key to another character so they can drive it too.
• View / pay your finance loan, if any.

You can have multiple vehicles spawned at once but only one of each — you can't conjure two of the same car.

# Fuel

Vehicles consume fuel based on engine size and driving style. The fuel gauge is on the speedometer HUD.

• Refuel at any gas station — Press E while next to a pump to start the dispenser.
• Pay at pump with cash or card. Card pays directly from your bank.
• Running out of fuel kills the engine — you have to walk to a station with a jerry can or call for a roadside assist.

# Parking & impound

• A spawned vehicle that's left unattended for 30+ minutes and far from any property gets soft-impounded — it despawns and reappears at the nearest impound lot.
• An abandoned vehicle (never returned to by the owner) eventually goes to long-term impound.
• Recover at the impound lot for a flat fee. The fee scales with how long it sat.
• Locking your vehicle and parking properly avoids all of this.

# Indicators / lights

• Left arrow — left indicator.
• Right arrow — right indicator.
• Down arrow — hazards.
• /lights on|off|auto — manual headlight override.

Indicators tick visually for everyone in stream range; they auto-cancel when straightening up.

# Mods & customisation

LS Customs (multiple branches) handles cosmetic and performance mods. Your owned vehicle stores its loadout, so colour swaps and aftermarket parts persist across spawns.

# Vehicle finance

If you financed the purchase:

• Monthly payments auto-debit from your bank.
• Three missed payments → vehicle is repossessed. The dealer takes it back and re-lists it; you lose ownership but keep any equity in cash.
• Pay early any time — it just shortens the loan.
