Controls & UI

Default keybinds, the bottom prompt-hud, and how to remap keys to your taste.

Default keybinds

Key Action
M Open / close your phone
I Open inventory
E Generic interact (matches the bottom prompt)
L Lock / unlock vehicle (driver only)
K Engine on / off (driver only)
F2 Configurable command bind (set in /keybinds)

B Fingerpoint
C Browse clothing (when near a clothing store)
Left Arrow Indicator left
Right Arrow Indicator right
Down Arrow Hazard lights
Backspace Heli exit / cancel mode

All of these can be remapped via /keybinds.

Bottom prompt HUD

When you walk near something interactive — an ATM, a clothing store, the Card Trader, a payphone — a small prompt appears at the bottom of the screen:

Press E to use ATM · Pacific Standard

That's the universal pattern. If you don't see a prompt, you're not in range yet. Some interactions use different keys (C for clothing, B for barbers); the prompt always tells you which.

Settings panel

/settings opens a unified settings panel with sections for:

  • Display — UI scale, HUD toggles, fonts.
  • Audio — voice/effects/music volumes (use /vol 0–100 for the in-vehicle radio specifically).
  • Keybinds — see "Remapping keys" below.
  • Privacy — anonymity, OOC chat preferences.

Remapping keys

/keybinds opens an editor where you can:

  • Click an action and press a new key to bind it.
  • Bind a custom slash command to a key (e.g. F4/me waves).
  • Restore defaults per-row.

Saved server-side; persists across characters and re-installs.

In-game help

  • /help — paginated command list.
  • /report — open a ticket. Use this for bugs and admin reports.
  • /admins — see who's currently on duty (admins only).

When the cursor is "stuck"

If a UI closes but the cursor stays visible, press F3 to toggle. If that doesn't fix it, /clearui will force-close every open UI and release the cursor.
