Clothing & Wardrobe

How clothing works on this server — wardrobe shops, saved outfits, slot toggles, and why pulling a hat in a fight is bad practice.

Clothing is treated as wardrobe-only — clothes don't take up an inventory slot, can't be dropped on death, and are tied to your character forever once bought.

Buying clothing

Walk into any clothing store (Binco, Suburban, Ponsonbys — icons on the map). Press the wardrobe key (default C) to open the wardrobe panel. Inside:

  • Category tabs down the side — Tops, Pants, Shoes, Hats, Glasses, etc.
  • Slider for drawable index (which item in the catalog).
  • Slider for texture (colour variant).
  • None toggle for prop slots (hats, glasses, watches) — sets that slot to "no item."

Each change accumulates a "pending changes" list. Click Save to commit them all at once — the total cost shows on the button.

Tip

The "Hair" tab is only visible at barbers, not at clothing stores. Same for plastic surgery — that's its own vendor.

Outfits

You get 60 saved outfit slots per character. Use the wardrobe panel's "Outfits" tab to:

  • Save current to a slot — captures every clothing component (not hair / tattoos).
  • Load slot — instantly equips that outfit.
  • Rename / delete existing slots.

Outfits can be loaded from anywhere with /outfits — no need to be at a clothing store.

Important

Loading an outfit does not reset your hair, tattoos, or facial features. Only clothing components swap.

Slot toggles

These commands hide individual slots in-place — useful for taking off a hat at a bar, going barefoot at the beach, etc.

Command Slot
/hat Hat
/glasses Glasses
/ears Earpiece / earrings
/watch Watch
/bracelet Bracelet
/mask Mask
/shirt Top
/undershirt Undershirt
/pants Pants
/shoes Shoes
/bag Bag
/accessories Accessories slot
/vest Body armour visual
/decals Body decals (e.g. tattoos drawn on jacket)

Each command is a toggle — first call hides, second call brings it back.

Note

When /shirt and /undershirt are both off, the server automatically swaps your torso component to the bare-arms variant so the body renders correctly. Toggling either one back fixes the torso automatically.

/strip and /nude

/strip removes everything down to the freemode underwear baseline, fast. /nude removes underwear too. Both preserve your tattoos (which are skin, not clothing). Use the same command again to restore.

What persists where

Change Persists across
Wardrobe purchase Forever, on this character
Saved outfit slot Forever, on this character
Slot toggle (/hat, /shirt, etc.) Until you log out
/strip, /nude Until you log out or restore
Caution

Slot toggles are session-only. Logging out and back in restores your full saved appearance. If you want a persistent change, save it as an outfit.
