I started Roleplay Project because I was tired of how roleplay servers were being run. Tired of staff hovering over every scene, of players being managed instead of trusted, and of communities where nobody would give you a straight answer. I watched good people walk away from servers they loved because of it.
I wanted to build the opposite. A city where you are free to tell your own story. Where staff are there to help, not to control. And where the people running it are honest with you, even when the news is not good.
So this is what I am committing to. I will tell you the truth about what is happening, good or bad. When we make a decision that affects you, you will hear why. When we get something wrong, we will own it and fix it. And we will keep listening, because this city belongs to the people who play in it.
I hold every single member of staff to account. Their job is to treat you fairly, every time, whoever you are, and what they do is logged and checked. If they fall short, they answer to me. That starts with training, and we take it seriously: nobody gets powers here without learning the job properly first, and the learning does not stop once they are in. Behind the scenes we are a close family. We look out for each other and we are honest with each other, and that is how we want you to be looked after too.
I also want to be clear about one thing: we are not going anywhere. Roleplay Project is not a side project that disappears when things get hard. We are backed, we are building every single day, and we are in this for the long haul. Servers come and go. This one is staying.
Thank you for being part of it. Whether you have been here since the beginning or you joined this week, you are the reason this works.
