There is exactly one official Roleplay Project bot on Telegram: @RoleplayProjectTeam_bot. This page is the place to check you are talking to it, and what it can do for you once you are.
How to know it is really us
Impersonation is the main risk with any bot. Five checks, any one of which rules out a fake.

The username matches exactly
Our only bot is @RoleplayProjectTeam_bot. Anything with extra letters, a different suffix, "support", "team2" or a number is not ours. Telegram usernames are unique, so an exact match is the proof.

It is linked from here
This page, the UCP dashboard and settings, and the #announcements channel in our Discord all link to the same bot. If you reached a bot any other way, come back here and compare.

Linking happens on the UCP, never in chat
Connecting your account always opens ucp.roleplayproject.net in your own browser, where you are already signed in, and asks you to confirm. The bot never asks for your password, email code or Telegram login code.

The bot never takes money
RPP+ is sold only through our official Tebex store, and Telegram Stars payments are closed. We never ask for bank transfers, gift cards or payment links, and we never message you first asking for money.

Sign-in codes only while you sign in
A code from the bot only ever arrives seconds after you typed your password on the UCP. A code you did not ask for means someone else has your password: tap Not me, and the account locks itself.
- If something is off
Do not link, do not pay, and tell us through a ticket on the UCP. If you already entered a password somewhere suspicious, change it on the UCP and use the emergency lock in the real bot.

Characters, factions, RPP+ status, last logins with location, passkeys, and an emergency lock.
One-tap sign-in
Choose Telegram for your sign-in codes and approve logins with a tap instead of typing an email code. Email still works.
RPP+ status
See when your RPP+ runs out and get a reminder before it does. Past Telegram Stars receipts stay in the chat; new purchases go through Tebex.
Reports from your phone
After filing a report in the city you can log off (unless you were just in combat) and carry the whole thread on from Telegram.
Autumn Harvest
Plant, harvest, tend, shop and chat from your phone, with a message when crops are ready.
Alerts
Staff replies to tickets and reports, RPP+ running out, ripe crops. Each one is a switch you control.
Everything you do through the bot is logged to your UCP account, exactly like actions on the UCP itself. Type /official in the bot at any time to see this checklist there.
